Lisette Malvinia was a Marathine noblewoman who married Lord Creon Malvinius during the reign of Claudius Cordelius.  She was implied to be a jealous woman who was upset that her husband, who'd had male lovers previously, did not reciprocate her love.

Malvinia appears in a story Mildmay tells in the introduction to Mélusine.

Behind the scenesEdit

  • Lisette is a French diminutive of the name Elizabeth, from the Hebrew Elisheva "my God is an oath."
  • Malvinia is likely a Latinized form of the name Malvina, which was an 18th-century creation likely intended to mean "smooth brow" in Gaelic.
